Student groups will be called randomly, by group number, for the evaluation. The grading will be on individual basis according to the following Grade Scale.
Grade scale:
Grading of the presentations is according to the following criteria:
- adherence to time
- quality of presentation / presentation style
- quality and correctness of contents
- creativity
- bigger picture, context, own critical analysis and discussion
The following guideline is used for grading:
- Grade 1: Outstanding presentation, both in contents and quality. Significantly goes above expectations
- Grade 2: Good presentation as expected for a student at this stage.
- Grade 3: Presentation with flaws, or hard to understand, or containing wrong statements.
- Grade 4: Minimal requirements met, but presentation quality and/or contents below expectations.
- Grade 5: Failed. Presentation entirely un-understandable, or no-show.
For gradation, individual grades can be lowered or raised by 0.3 points (e.g., 1.3 = almost perfect, but not quite). The grades 0.7, 4.3, and 4.7 are not to be used (see exam regulations). All grades above 4.1 are equivalent to a 5.
Exam Review
