Chair of Didactics of Computer Science

The Chair’s main activities comprise providing specialist education to students enrolled in teacher training, conducting research in the field of education, and supporting schools in Saxony various ways. This includes helping them use the services provided by the Saxon Education Server in addition to other online teaching and learning services and how to configure them. The Chair is also dedicated to the conceptional development of schools in a computer science context.

The Chair of Didactics of Computer Science is involved with a specialist group called IBiSaTh, whose mission it is to prepare and educate Saxony’s and Thuringia’s computer scientists of the future.

The Chair currently hosts about 20 employees.
