Art+Code
Over the course of 15 weeks, the “Art+Code” course explores the interplay between computer science and art—in three areas: art created with computers; art that addresses computer science as a subject; and art generated by computers themselves. The course covers historical and contemporary examples from fields such as data art, algorithmic drawing, computer-generated music, net art, VR, theater, expanded cinema, robotics, artificial life, and generative AI.
Structure: weekly lecture + weekly seminar.
