Media Informatics Project - The Performative Space

The Media Computer Science project INF-B-490 is a required course for students in the Bachelor’s degree program in Media Computer Science (Curriculum 2009).

The Performative Space

Over the course of the semester, students worked in groups to develop interactive installations. The focus was on the space—specifically, the IXLab—which was digitally expanded through wall projections and interacted with visitors. The students developed an interactive installation from concept to implementation, using real objects, walls, floors, and projections via projectors, and achieved interactivity using tracking systems such as Lidar and cameras.
