INF-25-Ba-ÜQu Interdisciplinary qualifications and INF-25-Ma-AQUA Studium generale
The module "INF-25-Ba-ÜQu Interdisciplinary Qualifications" is part of the Bachelor's degree programs in Computer Science and Applied Computer Science as well as in the Diplom degree program in Computer Science under the 2025 regulations, wheras INF-25-Ma-AQUA Studium generale is offered within the Master's degree program in Computer Science (2025).
In these modules, a total of 4 SWS courses from the TUD's "studium generale" catalog must be selected and completed. After completion, you submit the certificates to the Examination Office for booking in your degree program.
Please note!
- You can choose several courses that add up to 4 SWS.
- The courses must be unrelated to your degree program. (For example, the course "Quantum Computing" is not offered by the Faculty of Computer Science. However, it is not unrelated to the subject and therefore cannot be included in the INF-25-Ba-ÜQu module).
- Only courses that are graded can be included. Therefore, when choosing your courses from the catalog, make sure that they can conclude with a graded examination!
INF-B-610 - "Interdisciplinary Qualifications in Computer Science" in the Bachelor's degree programs in Computer Science and Media Computer Science
The credit points of the compulsory module General Qualification INF-B-610 of the two Bachelor's degree programs Computer Science and Media Computer Science can be earned by completing examinations for courses according to the elective catalog.
This must include
- 2 SWS from the general qualification area aka Table 1 (these include TUDIAS language courses, graded courses from the studium generale catalog and listed courses from the Faculty of Computer Science) and
- 2 SWS from the range of proseminars aka Table 2
must be completed.
The catalog of courses offered is published at the beginning of each semester as part of the course offerings. In general, only the courses listed there with the respective prerequisites and restrictions can be selected.
INF-AQUA - "General Qualification" in the Master's degree programs Computer Science and Media Computer Science
The credit points of the compulsory module General Qualification INF-AQUA of the two Master's degree programs Computer Science and Media Computer Science can be acquired by completing examinations for courses according to the elective catalog.
This must include

- 2 SWS from the range of advanced seminars aka Table 2
must be completed.
