IXP from Scratch won the RIPE Labs Competition

Together with our colleagues from DD-IX, we founded the RIPE Labs series "IXP from Scratch", in which we report about the requirements and challenges of building an IXP and how we overcome them at DD-IX, the first public Internet Exchange at Dresden.

RIPE Labs is a place for network operators, developers and industry experts to share and discuss Internet-related news, ideas, analyses and tools for the benefit of the RIPE community. The RIPE Labs Article Competition recognizes particularly helpful and interesting articles.

Prof. Wählisch is a co-founder of DD-IX and provides strategic advice and support.
