Two new R&D projects granted

We received funding to continue conducting research on both a space cloud and an advanced digital payment system. In DARKSOL-EE, we will work on a high technical readiness level for a space cloud that will enable applications of the space industry (so-called payloads) for satellites, robotics, or space probes to operate similar to regular cloud infrastructure. In NGI-Taler CBOR, we aim to complement the JSON data format used in the Taler RESTful APIs with support for CBOR, a binary data format tailored for resource-constrained devices.

Overall, both projects are supported by more than 250,000 EUR, co-financed by the European Union and the Free State of Saxony. We gratefully acknowledge their support.
