The Chair of Privacy and Security analyzes and designs system architectures and network protocols. The focus is often on the optimal interaction of diverse components of an overall system with heterogeneous, sometimes contradictory, requirements. In particular, technically demanding challenges arise with regard to security, privacy, and performance in a distributed architecture.
