A summer school on Circular Economy, a joint third party funding proposal and a second workshop with the Czech cluster WASTen on Circular Economy and Waste Treatment are the results of the visit of representatives of the School of Engineering Sciences to the Jan Evangelista Purkyně- University Ústí nad Labem (UJEP).

On January 17, 2023, Prof. Michael Beckmann, Chairman for the School of Engineering Sciences, and Maike Heitkamp, International Affairs Advisor, met with representatives of UJEP.

Together with the Dean of the Faculty of Environment Prof. Pavel Kuráň, the Vice Dean Prof. Josef Trögl, the Head of the Department of Environmental Chemistry and Technology Dr. Pavel Krystynik, the Head of the Laboratory Dr. Pavol Midula, the Managing Director of WASTen Dr. Radek Hořeňovský and Prof. Valentina Pidlisnyuk, various activities planned for the year 2023 between TUD and UJEP were discussed and already developed in terms of content.
