The contents of the bylaws are binding for the FSR MW. Guidelines are intended to assist in decision-making but are not binding.

Regulations

Student Council Regulations

Our student council bylaws form the basis for the work of the FSR. They define

• the legal status and responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineering Student Council,
• the rights and obligations of its members,
• the function, composition, and election of the FSR MW,
• the status and duties of the members of the FSR MW,
• the meetings of the FSR MW,
• the decision-making process of the FSR MW,
• the duties of the General Assembly and the procedures for convening it.

Financial Regulations

The Financial Regulations are a supplement to the Student Council Regulations and are therefore part of them. They contain all provisions regarding the budgetary and financial management of our Student Council. If you would like to request funds from us, you will find all the necessary information here. In particular, the following are regulated:

• the duties of the treasurer,
• payment transactions,
• the authorization of payments.

Rules of Procedure

The Rules of Procedure govern the conduct of FSR MW meetings. They also serve as a supplement to the Student Council Bylaws. Here you’ll find all the information regarding motions, deadlines, discussion rules, and meeting dates. These rules will be helpful if you attend one of our meetings or submit a motion.

Guidelines

Loan Policy

We lend out a wide selection of practical equipment for your move or your next party. The Lending Policy contains all the details regarding fees, deposits, and reservations. You’ll also find a list of all items available for loan there.

Funding Guidelines

Are you planning a field trip, a student exchange, or another project? We’d be happy to support you.

The Funding Policy outlines the conditions and options for your funding. We can support projects that fall within the scope of the Student Council’s responsibilities. The Student Council’s responsibilities are defined in Section 24 of the Saxon Higher Education Freedom Act.

For the approval of payments, please also refer to the MW Student Council’s Financial Regulations above.

Participation Guidelines

These participation terms apply to all of our events with a limited number of participants. You must agree to the Participation Guidelines if you wish to participate in one of these events.

Computer Usage Policy

The Computer Usage Policy governs the use of and access to the FSR’s internal IT infrastructure.

Transponder Policy

The Transponder Policy governs the issuance of transponders and access to FSR premises.
