Studies and interviews in the parks of Dresden

As part of the sub-project D3, “Perception of noise in urban green spaces”, scholarship-holder Verena Zapf, along with student assistants, conducted numerous studies of green spaces users in 15 parks of Dresden this summer. However, in order to collect more detailed data regarding the individual perception of noise, short interviews have been conducted in these parks since August. Results are expected to demonstrate what design measures in urban parks and green spaces are able to reduce the perception of traffic noise.
