Cluster A: New materials for the transformation of traffic
Main Perspective: Engineering
The focus of the first cluster is the question of how special materials for the production, storage, and use of synthetic fuels – e.g. for catalysts – can be produced energy-efficiently, in order to avoid exhaust emissions and to minimize environmental and health damage.
Disciplines involved:
- Energy Process Engineering
- Chemistry
- Measuring and sensor system technology
Subprojects:
A1: Development of novel oxidation catalysts for the removal of VOCs and NOx
A3: Non-invasive characterization of fluid-particle interaction in a pulsation reactor
