Postdoc Dr. Zhaolei Ding

Zhaolei Ding received his Ph.D. from Shandong University in Sep. 2022. His research during his Ph.D. focused on the heat transfer enhancement of PCM, and this research greatly improved the charging rate of phase change cold energy storage, and the research results were published in Journal of Energy Storage, Energy and Buildings and Energy Technology, and appeared on the front cover page of Energy Technology. He is currently supported by Sino-German (CSC-DAAD) Postdoc Scholarship Program as a postdoc at the Chair of Thermodynamics. His postdoctoral research is focused on the heat transfer and fluidity performance of micro bubbly water-based nano-PCM emulsion used for high power chip cooling.
