Frequency Response Facility
In a frequency response experiment, the gas phase above a porous solid is subjected to volume modulation. The phase-shifted pressure signal is detected. From the intensity and the phase shift, conclusions can be drawn about the diffusion and sorption behavior of the gas in the porous solid.
