Macrokinetic adsorption system

The macrokinetic adsorption system developed at the professorship enables temperature-dependent pressure/loading measurements of adsorbents from selected sorbents such as water or ammonia on a technically relevant scale. The modular design of the system enables the investigation of different sample geometries such as fibers, bulk materials, or coated heat exchangers. The goal is to develop and cycle novel materials for absorption-driven refrigeration machines or heat pumps and coating methods for heat exchangers.
