Volumetric gas sorption (BET)
A Microtrac Belsorp Mini X for volumetric gas sorption is available at the chair. This allows the adsorption behavior of different solid/gas combinations to be analyzed and adsorption isotherms to be measured. The system can be operated with a variety of adsorption gases and can be operated with gas cartridges.
Technical details:
- Number of sample connections: 2 + reference
- Volume of the dewar vessel: 2 L (for 30 h)
- Suitable for gas cartridges
- Heater for pre-treatment of samples (50 °C - 450 °C)
- Water bath for alternative adsorption measuring temperatures (-10 °C - 70 °C)
