4th International Conference on Advanced Joining Processes (AJP)

On October 16 and 17, the AJP 2025 took place in the university city Coimbra. The main topics were, among others, the latest developments in forming and welding technology, in particular wire and arc-based additive manufacturing, as well as methods of in-situ process observation. The Chair of Joining Technology and Assembly was represented with a presentation on the versatility of clinch and rivet joints and a presentation on wire and arc-based additive manufacturing (WAAM) of copper alloys. The results are expected to be published in the Journal of Advanced Joining Processes (clinching/riveting) and Discover Mechanical Engineering (WAAM of copper alloys) following the conference.
