Best Paper Award SheMet 2025

We are happy to announce that our colleague Stephan Lüder has been awarded with the Best Paper Award for the conference paper ‘Analysis of the binding mechanisms depending on versatile process variants of self-piercing riveting’ at the 21st International Conference on Sheet Metal from 1 - 3 April 2025. The paper was written as part of the SFB/Transregio 285 ‘Method development for mechanical joinability in versatile process chains’ in cooperation with the LWF of the University of Paderborn and the LFT of the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.

The conference offered a great opportunity to exchange ideas with experts in the field of sheet metal processing and to receive valuable feedback. We would like to thank the organisers of SheMet 2025 for the opportunity to present our work to such a high-calibre audience and look forward to future projects and collaboration.
