Harms and Wende at the 6th HWH Colloquium 2023

Together with the company Harms und Wende, the 6th HWH Colloquium 2023 took place this year at the Chair of Joining Technology and Assembly. This event provides a platform for the exchange of research activities in industry and science.

Representatives from Harms and Wende took the opportunity to present their latest developments and research projects in the field of resistance welding technology. The dialogue between industry experts and scientists enabled a fruitful exchange of ideas, findings and challenges that are driving both sides forward in the further development of the technologies.

A special moment of the colloquium was the recognition of senior professor Uwe Füssel, who was honoured for his outstanding achievements in joining technology and assembly, while new professor Hans Christian Schmale was officially welcomed at the same time. Harms and Wende presented the two professors with a special gift in gratitude for their contributions.

The event not only strengthened the existing partnerships, but also further strengthened the platform for future co-operation and innovation in the field of joining technology. Harms and Wende thus once again emphasises its commitment to research and development in the context of advancing technological developments in the industry.
