New board and changes at DVS Dresden district association

On November 7, 2023, the annual general meeting of the DVS Dresden District Association took place at the IHK Bildungszentrum Dresden gGmbH. Under the moderation of Roland Zschech, the annual and financial reports were presented and the actions of the previous Executive Board were approved.
After an appreciative farewell to the old board, a new board was elected unanimously. The Board will take office on January 1, 2024 and is made up of representatives from renowned institutions and companies, including Sven Noack (SLV Halle GmbH), Roland Zschech (SLV Halle GmbH), Martin Schmieder (Schweißtechnische Lehranstalt der Handwerkskammer Dresden), Christopher Papsin (Air Liquide Deutschland GmbH) and Paul Schilling (TU Dresden).
The new board will also see the office move to the njumii, the training center for the skilled trades, from 2024. The general meeting was concluded with a specialist lecture on "Welding Supervision".
Sven Noack, Chairman-designate, spoke about the upcoming tasks of the Executive Board. He plans to continue the successful work, involve the members more closely and offer formats that promote professional exchange. The new Board is looking forward to the cooperation and active participation of DVS members and existing working groups.
