Chair for joining technology and assembly

The main points in education and research are the development of  processes and tools in the area of thermal joining [welding, soldering, brazing], adhesive bonding, joining through plastic forming, mechanical joining (fastening, pressing) and hybrid joining and additional the exploring of planning methods for assembly, handling and joining processes.

The chair has 25 employee and is based in the building Zeuner-Bau.
