Minisymposium at the ECCOMAS SMART 2025 in Linz

At this year's SMART conference in Linz, we once again organized a mini-symposium entitled "MS04 - Smart Materials, Sensors, Actuators and Control for Machine Elements and Robotics". Topics included current research on (i) sensor-integrating machine elements, (ii) smart materials such as shape memory alloys and (iii) energy harvesters. There were a total of 12 exciting presentations. We also contributed two presentations, one by Johannes Menning entitled "Numerical investigation of wear effects on sensor-integrating jaw couplings" and one by his colleague Arthur Ewert from the Chair of Machine Elements entitled "Experimental investigation of a novel sensor-integrating jaw coupling for data acquisition".
