Best Practice Guidelines for CFD for Dispersed Multi-Phase Flows 2026
From October 12th to October 14th, 2026 Christopher Stäglich participated in the event "Best Practice Guidelines for CFD for Dispersed Multi-Phase Flows 2026" in Athens. This international gathering brought together leading experts, researchers, and practitioners in the field of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for dispersed multi-phase flows.
The event served as a forum for scientific exchange and networking. Through interactive sessions, poster presentations, and the dedicated problem-shooting session, participants were able to share experiences, discuss challenges, and receive direct feedback on their work. Such gatherings are essential for advancing the state of the art, as they foster collaboration and inspire new research directions.
Christopher Stäglich gave a talk, presenting his latest research findings and simulation approaches for a reactive, multiphase system. The lively discussions and constructive feedback received during and after the presentation were invaluable for refining the methods and identifying future research opportunities.
Participation in this event not only strengthened our professional network but also provided critical insights into the current challenges and future trends in CFD for dispersed multi-phase flows. We look forward to continued collaboration with the international community.
