CaviPRO Induction School Kick Off

On 23.09.2024 the Horizon Europe project CaviPRO - Modeling, Control and Applications of Hydrodynamic Cavitation Phenomena started at the University of Limerick in Ireland. The one-week program included lectures and conferences on hydrodynamic cavitation, cavitation-induced wear and modeling of multiphase flows. In addition to introductions and get-togethers, discussions were held on various research topics, entrepreneurship and the implementation and application of laboratory findings in practice. The project partners Biocore Environment and the Bernal Institute at the University of Limerick gave an insight into their laboratories and research facilities. It was an educational and productive week, which also allowed for exploration of Limerick in the evenings.
