New offer for Master's, diploma and internship theses
Gas-liquid systems play an important role in the chemical industry, for example in gassed stirred tanks or bubble columns. An important characterization parameter is the so-called gas hold-up, which characterizes the volume fraction of gas bubbles in gas-liquid systems. A stationary gas hold-up is achieved with continuous gas dosing. However, if the gas is produced by a chemical reaction, the gas proportion changes with the course of the reaction. It is precisely these dynamics that are to be evaluated using suitable measurement technology as part of a basic study. The knowledge gained in the course of the project will be used to plan and carry out validation experiments for flow simulations.
