Lecture by Silas Ehrlich at the 2nd Saxon Student Conference on Circular Economy
On October 9, 2024, the 2nd Saxon Student Conference on Circular Economy took place in Dresden, where students and graduates presented current results of their research work on the recommendation of their study institutions. Silas Ehrlich is currently working on the digestion of microalgae using hydrodynamic cavitation in his diploma thesis at the Chair of Chemical Process Engineering. In his presentation at the student conference, he clearly explained how this work contributes to closing CO2-fixing value chains. The student conference took place as part of the 56th Power Plant Technology Colloquium. The contributions addressed aspects of the circular economy in very different areas, from materials science and multiphase flows to energy-efficient refurbishment. We look forward to seeing more exciting contributions next year on an even larger scale!
