Process Analysis and Design of Experiments
Contents
The objective of the course is to provide the fundamentals for modeling through theoretical and experimental process analysis as well as for statistical design of experiment. The following topics are covered:
- Model building based on theoretical process analysis using balance equations and constitutive relations
- Numerical solution methods for nonlinear systems of equations, ordinary differential systems of equations and partial differential systems of equations
- Model building based on experimental data using the statistical regression method
- Application of the statistical design of experiment
- Evaluation of the results and selection of significant parameters
