Training Reactor AKR-2

The training reactor AKR-2 of the TU Dresden became critical for the first time on March 22nd 2005. Since then, Germany’s most modern research reactor is available for training and research. Students in the field of technical and science studies, as well as medical physics experts benefit the most from the improved training facilities. The plant is open to public and pupils by appointment.
