Studying at the Chair of Biomaterials
The Chair of Biomaterials offers an interesting and broad range of courses for various degree programs. The spectrum ranges from compulsory lectures, exercises, practicals and learning workshops in the undergraduate course to optional or compulsory courses in the advanced course. The courses take place as face-to-face and online events. Courses of the Chair of Biomaterials
The Chair of Biomaterials makes important contributions to the courses for the Bachelor's and Diploma degree programs in Materials Science at undergraduate and graduate level and for other degree programs at TU Dresden.
In particular, the Chair is responsible for basic training in Materials Science in the Bachelor's and Diplom degree programs of the same name.
In the main course of study, teaching services are provided in various subject areas of biomaterials, material selection, corrosion, surface technology and material characterization.
The lecture "Materials in Biomedicine" contributes to the teaching performance in the Master's course "Biomolecular Engineering".

Since 2023, the Chair of Biomaterials at TU Dresden has been a recognized practice partner of the Berufsakademie Sachsem in the degree program Laboratory and Process Engineering, Biotechnology.
