Course content |
In this lecture materials (Iron free metals, ceramics, natural materials) relevant to light weight construction are introduced. Their properties will be classified and ordered, and the possibilities for their modification shown. On top of this the lectures encompass the materials behaviour under load, the machining properties of the material group as well as the application areas. The lectures along with “Basics of Polymer Materials” and “Fibre Composite Materials and Technologies 1” belong to the module light weight materials (MB-LB-02). The module is compulsory in the main study section for students in the field of study – Light Weight Construction. The lectures are offered every academic year in the winter semester. Lecture Iron Free Metals (5 Lectures)
Ceramics (4 Lectures) Natural Materials (5 Lectures) |
