The Chair of Material Technology offers every semester a number of courses for students of the degree courses Material Technology and Mechanical Engineering. In addition, selected lecture series from the area of material technology and construction materials are integrated into the degree courses Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic and Educational Science.

The Chair of Material Technology constantly offers a multitude of highly interesting material technology as well as material science based research themes, which can be completed in the framework of a student research project or diploma thesis. A variety of themes from basics research as well as industrial research are available.
