Approval ZIM network "AutoRobXL"

The ZIM innovation network "AutoRobXL" (FKZ: 16KN114203) was officially launched on 01.08.2023. This has the objective to realize automated work processes by means of large-area manipulators. Large-scale manipulators are long, often elastic boom structures that are subject to strong deformations and vibrations. Examples of this are truck-mounted concrete pumps, mobile cranes or cherry pickers. Within the framework of the network, new solutions are to be developed at component and system level, which enable the precise control and positioning of such boom structures as well as the associated working tools. To this end, several companies have joined forces and will conduct joint research on new processes and products as part of various research projects.
