DEEPLIGHT at the IGC 2024

Erik Neumann from Technische Universität Dresden Electro Pulse Power team just presented innovative approaches to overcome common issues in geothermal industry at the Islandic Geothermal Conference IGC 2024. The presentation covered the removal of scales and the latest research from the DEEPLIGHT project about drilling deep geothermal wells with Electro Pulse Power (EPP) Technology.   Experts from all over the globe gathered in Reykjavik from 28.05.-30.05.2024 to share knowledge about various topics ranging from ultra hot geothermal up to well integrity and the further use of silica from geothermal scales. One key message was clear: The potential of geothermal energy seems to be endless. We will continue to support this path with our research.
