Briefly about us

Both experienced and young engineers and technicians work in our interdisciplinary, highly motivated team. The scientific staff have mostly completed their studies in the field of mechanical engineering with a specialization in mobile work machines and off-road automotive technology. Scientists with a technical connection to classic machine elements and tribology as well as to computer science or mechatronics complete the construction machine community at the TU Dresden.
The research activities focus on current and, in particular, future issues in the construction machinery sector. The increasing complexity of technical challenges is successfully met by the interdisciplinary expertise at the chair.
