Otto Hänsel Prize award ceremony 2023
The processing and packaging of consumer goods on high-performance equipment is a high-tech task, especially when it comes to high quality and maximum hygiene safety. This year's award for outstanding student research in this field was presented by Dr. Ralf-Otto Hänsel (representative of the founder), Professor Jens-Peter Majschak (Chair of Processing Machines/Processing Technology and Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging) and Richard Clemens (Managing Director of the Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) and member of the Board of Trustees) as well as the students Lena Bracken and Tobias Baginski on the Board of Otto Hänsel Stiftung, at the leading international packaging trade fair "Interpack" in Düsseldorf.
The Board of Otto Hänsel Foundation and the Chair of Processing Machines / Processing Technology congratulate Melanie Harenberg and Eugen Wolf (best student research project) as well as Pitt König and Ronja Maria Bittner (best final thesis) for their outstanding results and the prize money of in total 3000€!
