Successful Defense of the Dissertation by Dr.-Ing. Thomas Schrinner

On July 7, 2026, Dr.-Ing. Thomas Schrinner, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Jens-Peter Majschak (Institute of Natural Materials Technology, INT) , successfully defended his dissertation titled “Investigations into Dry Defibration and Low-Water Paper and Cardboard Production,” which he completed at the Chair of Wood Technology and Wood-Based Bioeconomy (HTB) at TU Dresden .

The dissertation was reviewed by Prof. Dr. Frank Miletzky (INT), Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hirn (Graz University of Technology), and Prof. Dr. André Wagenführ (INT). Another member of the committee was Prof. Dr. Markus Schubert (Institute of Process Engineering and Environmental Technology, IfVU).
