Thesis defense by Erik Frense

On October 08, 2025, Erik Frense successfully defended his PhD thesis on “Experimental and simulation-based investigation on bubble deformation and breakup in a T-junction channel flow”.

President of the jury was Prof. Dr. Pfifer, reviewers Prof. Dr. Fröhlich and Prof. Dr. Cierpka (TU Ilmenau), examiners Dr.-Ing. Heitkam and Prof. Dr. Haberstroh. Several former members of the institute participated in the event.
