On March 19, 2019, Silvio Tschisgale successfully defended his PhD thesis on fluid-structure interaction and and obtained the best possible degree.
President of the jury was Prof. Mailach, reviewers Prof. Fröhlich and Prof. Ulbricht, examiners Prof. Kästner and Priv. Doz. Stiller. Several former members of the institute participated in the event.
