Currently about 20 staff conduct research at the Chair of Turbomachinery and Flight Propulsion on a variety of turbomachinery-specific topics. These works are based on experimental and numerical methods and will improve current turbomachinery components in aircraft engines and stationary units. The application and development of probabilistic methods play an important role.
