Beschreibung:
Building on the findings of Phase I, the functionality of the software „Blade2Parameter“, which was developed at the chair of Turbomachinery and Jet Propulsion, is extended to rebuild the geometry of several turbine components based on optical measurement data. Within this scope, the focus is on the reconstruction of aerofoil, profiled endwalls (PEW) and fillet.
In addition to the extraction of profile parameters referring to the traditional NACA parameterisation, the trailing edge slot is measured automatically. Besides that, the treatment of casted pair components is enabled.
To ensure the functionality of reconstruction and parameterisation algorithms for turbine blades including external cooling holes, a method is developed to locate cooling holes based on optical measurement data and to replace them by smooth surfaces.
