Description:
Before the start of a measurement campaign the required measurements accuracies must be defined. This is needed to ensure the success of the measurement campaign, to define the measurement tasks and to get a reference for the quantitative evaluation of the measurement quality. Due to the steady progress in technological development the differences for the characteristic aerodynamic values get smaller. To be able to show these differences, a deviation from the used safety factors must be considered. In order to make such a decision, the process for the definition of the measurement accuracies will be performed on a probabilistic analysis. Following questions will be answered with this project:
- What measurement accuracy is required and what boundary conditions must be satisfied?
- How high is the associated confidence and the error probability of the statement?
- What is the relative influence of an individual measurement uncertainty?
