Studying at the Chair of Turbomachinery and Flight Propulsion
In the area of teaching, the basics of flight propulsion systems and turbomachinery and an in-depth knowledge about their components is imparted. In addition, it is possible to participate in research projects of the chair in the context of student work.
Studying at the Chair of Turbomachinery and Flight Propulsion
The lectures of the Chair of Turbomachinery and Flight Propulsion are aimed at students of Mechanical Engineering specialising in Aerospace Engineering, Power Engineering and other fields of study.
Foundations are taught in the subjects Aeroengines I and Fluid mechanics fundamentals of turbomachinery. In the specialisation course “Flight Propulsion” details of the individual engine components and the entire system are discussed.
During the summer semester, the Turbomachinery Colloquium is held together with the Chair of Thermal Power Machinery and Plants. Lecturers from industry and research report about current developments and challenges.
