Topics

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the experimental operation of the low-speed axial compressor at TU Dresden, interested parties from academia and industry will be offered the opportunity to discuss current topics on compressor aerodynamics within this workshop. Special attention will be paid to contributions in the following categories:

Design, development and operation of turbocompressors
Experimental and numerical flow analysis in axial and centrifugal compressors and cascade wind tunnels
3D blading concepts
Flow instabilities and rotor-stator interactions
Secondary flows and loss mechanisms
Compressors for future energy conversion processes

There is the possibility to present current scientific results within the framework of lectures with a length of 20min+10min discussion. Contributions are possible in German or English.

The concrete planning of the workshop will be announced after the presentation program has been drawn up.

Please send the title of your presentation and an abstract by e-mail to Dr. Martin Lange by May 16, 2025.

Participation fee and registration

The participation fee is 150,- € and includes dinner on 18.09.2025, as well as lunch and refreshments during breaks on 19.09.2025.
