Data analysis

Description

Increasing IT penetration and the wider use of inexpensive sensor technology are rapidly increasing the amount of available data on production and logistics systems. In order to actually extract information from this data, suitable database technologies and analysis tools must be found and capabilities of analysis algorithms developed. At the same time, data quality must be evaluated, as only a correct virtual (data) image of the real processes forms a valid basis for the planning and control of logistics and production systems and processes.
