Successful defense of the dissertation by Dr.-Ing. Stephanie Lukoschek
On June 30, 2025, Dr.-Ing. Stephanie Lukoschek successfully defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “Process development for melt-spun, bio-based and biodegradable yarns from sustainable polymers and their finishing with natural dyes” under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Maik Gude (Chair of Lightweight Engineering and Hybrid Structures, TU Dresden). The dissertation was developed at the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) at TU Dresden.

The doctoral thesis was supervised by Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Dipl.-Wirt. Ing. Chokri Cherif (ITM) and Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Gert Heinrich (Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden e.V., TU Dresden). As assessors, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Kyosev (ITM) and Prof. Dr. rer nat. Kornelius Nielsch (Chair of Metallic Materials and Metal Physics, TU Dresden) supervised the doctoral procedure.
