Successful defense of the dissertation by Dr.-Ing. Paul Penzel
On 10 June 2024, Dr.-Ing. Paul Penzel defended his dissertation "Modelling and development of bond-optimized textile concrete reinforcements for influencing the bond and failure behaviour in concrete matrices in a targeted manner", which he wrote at the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) at TU Dresden, under the chairmanship of Prof. Jens-Peter Majschak (TU Dresden, Institute of Processing Machines and Mobile Machinery).

The doctoral thesis was reviewed by Prof. Cherif (ITM) and Prof. Scheffler (Institute of Construction Materials, TU Dresden). Prof. Kyosev (ITM) and Prof. Modler (Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology, TU Dresden) accompanied the doctoral process as assessors.
