Declaration of Data Protection/Consent
The declaration provides information about the processing of personal data for sending the ProKI Dresden newsletter in the ProKI-Dresden project (information requirements according to DSGVO).
For which purposes shall personal data be processed?
The data is processed exclusively for sending the ProKI-Dresden newsletter in the ProKI project of the TU Dresden. The newsletters are sent several times a year.

What is the legal basis for processing personal data?
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 (1) a) DS-GVO (consent), i.e. the use of and consent to the associated processing of your personal data are voluntary.
What personal data is processed?
Only your e-mail address is processed for sending the newsletter.
How long is personal data stored?
Your e-mail address will be processed until revoked. This does not affect the legality of the processing based on the consent until revocation.
Is personal data transmitted to recipients, who at TU Dresden has access to this data and is data collected from third parties?
The e-mail address is stored by an external provider who has been contractually checked and bound in accordance with Art. 28 DSGVO. Unless otherwise stipulated by law or you have expressly consented in individual cases, no personal data will be transferred to third parties.
What rights do data subjects have in principle?
Voluntariness and revocation according to Art. 7 (3) DSGVO
The provision of personal data is voluntary. Consent to the processing of personal data may be revoked at any time in accordance with Art. 7 (3) DSGVO with the consequence that the personal data of the person concerned will not be further processed.
Right to information (Art. 15 DSGVO).
Data subjects have the right to request information about the data processed about them and the possible recipients of this data at any time. They are entitled to a response within a period of one month after receipt of the request for information.
Right to rectification, deletion and restriction (Art. 16 - 18 DSGVO).
Data subjects may at any time request TU Dresden to correct, delete or restrict the processing of their personal data.
Right to data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO).
Data subjects may request that the controller transmit their personal data to them in a machine-readable format. Alternatively, they may request the direct transfer of the personal data you have provided to another data controller, where this is possible.
Right of appeal (Art. 77 DSGVO).
Data subjects may contact the Data Protection Officer of TU Dresden at any time and, in the event of a complaint pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO, the competent supervisory authority for data protection. The competent supervisory authority is:
