DAAD-Program for Eastern Partnerships
At TU Dresden, the DAAD Eastern Partnership Program strengthens the partnership relations at selected partner universities in Eastern Europe. A limited amount of DAAD funding is available for the initiation and promotion of study, research and cooperation projects.

Funding
Travel costs for TUD members to the partner universities (outgoings):
University lecturers, PostDocs, assistants and staff employed at TU Dresden can apply for travel expenses in the actual amount. For students and doctoral candidates, travel allowances apply.
The DAAD does not fund overnight accommodation and daily allowances for TU Dresden participants.
Funding for short stays at TU Dresden (incomings):
University lecturers, doctoral students and students from the participating partner universities can apply for funding for a guest stay at TU Dresden. Travel costs, however, should be funded by the sending institution.
Procedure
If you are interested in funding, please adhere to the following deadlines for the planning of funds and projects:
- November 15 for projects starting in January of the following year
- May 15 for projects from July of the current year
Please use this form to apply for funding. Prior telephone consultation with the International Office is recommended. You will be notified within 3-4 weeks of submitting your application.
