TU Dresden, Politechnika Wrocławska (Wrocław University of Technology), the Free State of Saxony's liaison office in Wrocław and Saxony Economic Development Corporation (WFS) organize the 6th Saxon-Polish Innovation Day on Artificial intelligence for Global Challenges in Wrocław on December 16th, 2024. This event aims to promote sustainable cross-border cooperation in the field of science and industry between the Free State of Saxony and the Republic of Poland.

The 6th Saxon-Polish Innovation Day will focus on how AI methods are already being used today to achieve sustainability goals and what potential they will offer in the future to overcome complex sustainability challenges. The aim is to present multi-layered and concrete examples from the areas of

    Health and well-being
    Community and sustainable growth
    climate and resources

The Innovation Day will focus in particular on the economic significance of AI methods for companies and SMEs in particular.

It will highlight the innovative capacity and specific resources of the Polish-Saxon scientific and economic region for the development of AI tools and their implementation in practical applications and processes.
