Hydrological Collection
“Ott” Flow Meter for the Measurement of Fluid Velocity, ca. 1890
The collection includes approximately 20 hydrological instruments for measuring water velocity and depth, including some Ott flow meters for flow measurement dating back to the late 19th century, various thermographs, levelling devices and a collection of maps. The collection is open to the public, and individual objects are still used for demonstrations in teaching.
